On the last and most important day of the festival, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, he should come to Me and drink! The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.” He said this about the Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus were going to receive the Spirit, for the Spirit had not yet been received because Jesus had not yet been glorified. (John 7:37-39 HCSB)
"...Jesus has not yet been glorified.."
This statement simply means that unless Jesus Christ go through the Cross & rise up from the dead, He is not yet glorified. Which also means that pain & sufferings are necessary in our faith walk, if we want to be glorified with Jesus.
The work on the cross is not just Jesus being pinned on the cross. Can u imagine how He felt when He was sinless yet have to be labelled and take on the sin of the world? When we christians sinned against God, we feel guilty, condemned, horrible. How much more will Jesus feel, when He was such a sinless man, so pure so true, yet has to be carry the sin of the world.
Sometimes when we are hit by the challenges in life that seemed so HUGE and unbearable, we then ask God, "What have I done to deserve these?! God whyyyy did You allow these? Why are my friends living in such comfortable life and yet even if I pray, praise & worship You yet I have to go thru such terrible trial?"
But, I feel that we should rejoice even louder in trials. Because God only gives you what U can handle, and will never allow you to go through anything u cannot handle. Which means to say, in our trials, there is only one end: Victory!
We just have to go through the flow, in order to be more christlike.
Nevertheless, our God is a good Father.
1) He will never allow things to happen to me if I cannot overcome it.
2) Tribulations will come but Jesus has gone before me to suffer in my place, so I can have the strength to go thru challenges.
3) Everything happens for good to those to love God. Everything, including the bad.
4) God will turn everything the enemy meant for my bad into good to glorify His Name. Through God, my problems will be turned into blessings in my life.
5) everything that I go thru in life is to mould me into a better person, a better attitude, a more patient person.
Romans 8:17
If children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified tgr with Him.
